USED CAR SALES reached 7.1 million units in 2012, on a par with pre-recession levels and a climb of 6.4%, according to a comprehensive market report. The 2013 BCA Report by British Car Auctions valued the used car market a £38.1 billion in 2012, putting it £5.8 billion ahead of the new car market over the same period. The Car Design News Contest 2008 deadline for entries is on Wednesday March 26th - just over a week's time! Entries in both the Professional Designer category and the Student Designer category will have to be submitted by this date - no late entries will be accepted - as the assessment process takes place directly afterwards. Each entry needs to be uploaded onto the Entry Submissions page of the Car Design News Contest site as "snap shot" views of a digital design model.
